Anybody going to forego a lunch purchase and wait for the Apple Black Friday sale. Last year the base iPad Retina was $41 off.

If it drops in price, you have 30 days to return the one you purchase on Nov 1st. Being that Black Friday is November 29th, there is no risk in buying on launch day and either buying and returning or getting a price reduction.

So were the 32 and 64gb still the same price? If that's the case, there'd be no point in waiting for me. I wouldn't wait anyway.

They give a flat discount on every model i.e. last year it was $41 of every Retina iPad model.

If you buy from Apple the 'price adjustment' is only 14 days from purchase not 30. Also, the return period for iPads is 14 days not 30.

So at the minimum you would have to wait till mid November before buying.

I don't know about other retailers.
