iPad Air changes

I have found that a lot of notifications from sources are not coming thru on notifications as they do on iMac & iPad 2. especially Facebook and everything else, only App Store notifications com thru along with mail. Also if I have mail notifications and add my gmail it duplicates all vs. having gmail and cloud mail separate, any thoughts, same problems out there?
