iPad Air constantly showing "No Service"

I've had this iPad Air since July 2014, and it's always worked fine - I'm on the Three network here in the UK, and I've always had a really strong 3G signal.

Within the last few days it's suddenly got No Service at all. I've tried rebooting it, I've tried resetting it, I've tried removing/reinserting SIM, all to no avail.

If I turn Mobile Data to Off then On, it says "Searching" for a few seconds, but comes back every time with "No Service".

The account with Three is fully paid and no missed payments.

When I sit my iPhone 6 next to it, which is also on the Three network, the phone shows 5 bars, full 3G signal.

I've tried taking a SIM from a relative's iPad Air (also on Three) and my iPad still says "No Service", even with their SIM in (obviously their SIM works fine in their own iPad Air).

Any ideas what's going on?

Thanks

Where did you get the iPad from ?

Sometimes 'No Service' can mean it's been imei blocked by the Network.

Also check the mast status of The 3 Network in your area.

I got it from the Apple store, brand new. 3 is fine in the area, my iPhone is on 3 and is sitting next to the iPad with full signal.
