My iPad Air (2 months out of warranty) began a quick decline last week, crashing avery couple of minutes with a quick blue screen flash and reboot. Later that day it proceeded to not respond at all. Recovery, DFU both fruitless. Apple's diagnosis is hardware and only option is to replace it. No way to repair whatsoever. This just seems like crap. A $450 device shouldn't be reduced to a paperweight that quickly.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do with this thing other than try to recoup some residual value it has to someone by listing on eBay or selling to Gazelle or the like?

thanks!
