Hey guys, just got a new iPad air and I sort of regret it. This thing lags where my S3 doesn't even lag. When I am playing despicable me: minion rush on the iPad it lags like a motherf*****, is there something wrong with my iPad or does everyone have this issue?

I don't play Minion Rush, but do play Infinity Blade. In that and in regular usage, I have found the iPad Air to be very smooth.
Did you setup as new or restore from backup? You may want to try restoring the iOS and setting up as new, then installing the game only as a test. It should not lag.

Have you tried a reboot or reinstall etc.?
I don't play games but my wife and kids play games for hours on both my iPads and they never have a hitch. This thing has ran like butter since I got it, even with multiple apps open.
There's always a chance you got a dud, it happens.
I'd say if you know someone with an Air have them install it and try that to see if you see a difference.
