iPad Ipad air - Mic volume

When using ipad air for FaceTime calls , other person is not able to hear (very feeble voice) properly. I tried on both ipad with wifi model and Cellular model and issue is there in both.
I tried calling from even from iPhone 5 and Mac both seems fine
Any body facing this issue and is there any solution ?

I haven't actually tried FaceTime on it yet, but when using Siri I got the "I can't take any requests right now." I took a video and it seemed to be picking up audio, but I'll need to try it next to my iPhone to see if there is a volume difference.
