Hey, just bought me an iPad air and would like to download torrents on it - possible?

Itransmission seems to work good for iPhones and the earlier iPads but not iPad air.

So any other ideas?

If no; is it possible to send files from itransmission or VLC for iOS from my iPhone to my iPad? Without a computer! (On vacation so only have iPhone and iPad)

Tnx

I'm not aware of any application that allows direct download/peering of torrents on ios. I know there are some online "proxying" services that will download the torrent for you. Search the web if you are interested.

I did search. Found a few ways for iPhone not for iPad air.. Hope anyone else knows

Check out www.put.io I use it on my iphone, iPad, Chromebook and Rasberry Pi never had an issue and everything just works. The various extensions are great too.

EDIT: It's also like having a free VPN if you're concerned about privacy.

If those media apps (i.e VLC) you mentioned have an 'open in' function, you can download an app called files pro (or something similar) turns your iPhone/pad into a mobile memory stick. Create a tethered network between the two (personal hotspot) then use that app to access media in the files app and download it from one device to the other like that.

If that sounds really complicated feel free to ask me for help. not the best at explaining things sometimes!
