iPad Air Universal Cellular Version & Amazon

Hello Macrumors,

I just sold my iPad 3 that was Verizon only.
From the specs page on the apple website
http://store.apple.com/us/ipad/compare
It looks like the iPad air is universal i.e. a Verizon model is the same as an AT&T model.

Is that the case?



Slightly off topic but does anyone know if Amazon will sell the iPad air on Launch day?
