iPad Air uses 40% of battery in 90 minutes

This has been going on for some months, I've reset the battery twice to no avail. The thing is out of AppleCare, so there will be no help there. Anyone else having this problem?

Today 37% News, 13 % Tetris and Safari, Weather Messages etc used the rest, all under 10%.

Is the New app perhaps constantly online and refreshing in the background? They turning off background app refresh.

Even though its out of AppleCare you can take it in and Apple will test the battery for free. You'll at least figure out if its a hardware or software problem.

Yeah mine isn't wuite as bad as yours. My iPP 12.9" uses about 30% in a little more than 2 hours, I think because I have the screen brightness at around 80-85%, then I use safari (which oddly takes a bit of the battery.) Hopefully Apple takes care of you though.
