iPad iPad Air vs iPad 4 screen

Is Ipad Air screen is subjectively an improvement over Ipad 4 screen?

My Iphone 5s' screen has better colors in comparison to my 5 because of slightly warmer screen and would like to know if it holds true for ipads. I know that both Ipad models will have bad apples (pun intended) but would be interested in prevailing opinion.

I see no noticeable difference between my iPad 3 screen & the iPad Air. I assume the same is true for the iPad 4.

I have done a comparison in Best Buy between the two and I like the Airs screen better. The difference is small but it just looks sharper, clearer to me. Also if you lower the brightness all the way down in settings, the Airs screen goes down dimmer than the 4th gen Ipad. The backlight on the Ipad 4 seems really bright.

We have both, hard to tell mostly, although Air is better in ibooks for sure.

This is probably because reports say there are half as many LEDs in the backlight for the Air vs the iPad 4.
