iPad Air with white screen

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me. I have changed a digitiser screen and when I turned it on it was working. 24 hours later the screen has gone white with a black vertical line down the centre. I have checked the connections, they all seem fine, but it still won't display anything except the white screen and black line. Done a soft reboot, still nothing:(.
Does anyone know how to fix it?
