My iPad was dropped before I had a chance to buy a decent case for it. I replaced the screen that broke but I have noticed it is starting to crack due to the pressure from the dent on the corner. I was wondering if I should sand down the offending edge. I love the case and would like to keep it but it requires a uniform exterior on the iPad.

So I was hoping someone could enlighten me on sanding aluminum. Thanks for any help.

What are some of the techniques used (sanding or buffing)? What are the tool used or preferred?

Thanks,
Brian
