jbennardo macrumors 6502a Jun 16, 2009 771 0 Dec 20, 2011 #3 If you're selecting text in-line you can use the Shift-Arrow keys to select words/phrases. Also I believe the play/pause buttons will launch your iTunes and the volume buttons will mute/adjust volume on your iPad.
