Hello all.

I'm no networking expert, but I managed, on my Mac Pro, to use Google Open DNS in my router/internet settings, so I can access sites that are normally blocked by my ISP.

Is this possible on the iPad for the cellular data plan I have?

You can configure DNS for wifi networks.

You cannot for cellular networks. Unless... *maybe* if you jailbreak.

Which sites would be blocked by both your home ISP and a Cellular based ISP!? Me thinks that a tad dodgy.....

In any event you could set up a VPN connection on your iPad but most of these (if not all) come with a monthly fee of some sort.

Alternativly if you were using your iPhone as a Personal Hotspot then you could configure the wireless connection on your iPad with a different DNS server.
