Hi
Recently I've bought an iPad 3 and noticed it has another power adapter than my iPhone 5, why is that?
Could it do any harm to the battery when I would use the iPad adapter for my iPhone and vice versa?

Thanks in advance

The iPad charger is larger because it is capable of putting out more watts of charging power. They can be used interchangeably and it will not hurt either device. The iPhone charger will charge the iPad very slowly though.

And the iPhone charges faster with the iPad adapter? Thanks

Yes it does... but I don't notice a big difference. The charge rate is regulated by circuitry inside the phone, so putting on a larger charger does not seem to matter much. At least that is my experience.
