ipad and iphone tethering?

you can tether on a jailbroken iphone as well as multitask. why couldnt you jailbreak your iphone and teether to the ipad? im sure there will be jailbreaking for this thing and you can run multiple apps with it.

They can barely JB 3.1.2, but it would be nice and save about $130 +monthly fees.

I think the OP meant to say "jailbreak the iPad.". Jailbreaking an iPhone won't help for tethering to the iPad. Too bad they didn't offer tethering on the iPad in the first place.

Nah he meant jailbreak the iPhone and download the app that creates a WiFi network and then connect to said WiFi network from the iPad.

^^^ yes thats what im saying as i can do that with my laptop it connects to it like a wifi network from my iphone. i see a lot of people doing this and avoiding paying the different for the 3g one when they have their iphone in their pocket.
