iPad and iPhone = video editing heaven?

Is there iMovie for ipad or something like it?
And what about getting your files to and from each device? I already have the camera adapter.

In short, can i film on the iPhone then edit on the iPad?

I know that when i busted out the iPad at a photoshoot and transferred them over, people ***** a brick.

Yes.

There is an app called "Storyboard Composer" thay you may be interested in.

I've been doing all of my still photography, video shooting, post-processing and editing exclusively on the iPhone 4 lately. I am sure when Apple releases the iPad 2 (which should have a built-in camera finally) then they will update iMovie to be compatible with it... hopefully.

You'd have to go through the trouble of transferring video from iPhone to iPad. Why not just shoot it on the iPad now?
