ipad and photos syncing

My ipad, for some reason, refuses to sync one of the folders I added in itunes. NO error message, it just doesn't sync it. And it's the correct filetype/etc.

I've also noticed--like a lot of others--that itunes incorrectly reports that there is 0.99GB free instead of 3.2gb free (per the ipad). Maybe this has something to do with it (ie itunes thinks there isn't enough space?)

Any tips?
