Hi,

We have an iPhone app in App store. We have developed now the same app for iPad and want to upload this also. But, i heard that Apple will reject if we try to upload the iPad version app, which has exactly converted version of our iPhone app which is in App store. Is it true? If yes, how can i upload my iPad app now, which is similar to iPhone. My app is not Universal binary, so i didn't created this app in that way.
Could someone share you ideas please?

Thank you!

Why not make it a universal binary?

Hi,

Thank you for the reply!
I can't make it an universal app now. Because one reason is, it is a big product and we already have developed separate two versions. Second reason is, due to some technical design difficulties.

Please share me your ideas, how can i upload two apps separately one for iPhone(already in App store), and another for iPad version without Apple's rejection?

Thank you again!

Can you put the letters HD on the end of the name. Seems that what most iPad only apps do.

What is HD? High Definition right? Do you mean i can also change the app name little bit and upload as iPad version? For ex: If my iPhone app is uploaded as "A", then i can upload my iPad app for the same app as "A iPad" or "AA" ? or it must be "A HD" ? Does Apple not reject it?

Thank you!
