I just got my new iPad and was just synching all my apps from iTunes when i realised that they take up 11GB more than what is on my iPhone 4S. Went up from 14GB to 25GB. Anyone else's apps gone up in size? Or is this just because its on an iPad instead of an iPhone? First time iPad owner here thats why im not 100% sure.

yea thats because its an ipad and not an iphone.

You must have something wrong because if this was the case it wouldn't leave much memory in the 16Gb version

Even though your comparisons are unrelated, iPad app sizes being bigger is not news.

? What?

On another note, why would apps purchased for an iPhone be bigger when put on iPad? Wouldn't only apps made for both become bigger? Also, most iPad apps aren't updated for retina yet.
