i need your help / suggestation on one of the problem we are having.
I have just bought ipad for my dad, as he has a small laptop ( 10" , hp ) and he uses laptop too much to listen Radio/music / checking mails and stuff.
The problem he has is, He is VISUALLY IMPAIRED
so, life is limited for him, though he can manage his day to day work, he is retired.
I have iphone 4 and i know if you press and hold the home button, it activates Voice activation Mode. but i guess its bit limited.
Do you guys know any good apps which is good for thoese kind of ppl ?
i know there is an app call Dragon Dictation.
i am looking for some apps like this,
- Is there an app which can work with ipad default mail app, which can read your emails ?
- also, it would be great, if some apps announce every5-10 min. that You have a unread mail
- apps which can speak time evey now and then..
i guess , by now you experts will have an idea what kind of apps i am looking for..
Also, he does some stock market activaties too, so i am looking for an apps which can speak stocks values..( Like currently he is using "Talking Stocks" on his laptop, this apps keeps announce stocks valus from his Portfolio, on evey 10 minutes)
Any kind of help and suggestations are appreciated..
Also, i am planning to Jailbreak his ipad so i can download lots of other apps which can make his life easy.
