One of the reasons why I'm excited about getting an iPad is because I think it might be an excellent tool for manipulating photos from my DSLR. I know I can get photos on it, there are also bunch of tools to crop and enhance them, etc.

My questions so far are:

1. How does it handle RAW format?
2. Storage space - RAW files can take quite a lot of disk space, so keeping them on the iPad is probably not a good idea. Is there a smart workflow that would let me take the RAWs on the iPad, edit them, send them back to external HD and keep smaller JPEG copies on the device for later viewing?

Is there anything else you have included in your iPad photo workflow?

Thanks

1. It copies RAW files, but you cannot do anything with them (not even sure you can see them) I always shoot RAW+JPEG

2. No RAW editing
