I have an iPad 1 at the moment. I used to have the VGA adaptor, which allowed me to use certain apps on a larger screen.

Will the following adaptor enable me to mirror whatever is on the iPad onto my TV screen (video + audio), or does it only mirror with the iPad 2? I would like it to display whatever is on the iPad screen - ie. no matter which app Im running.....

Hmmm, another reason to upgrade.......may end up selling my 32GB and just get a 16GB iPad2 since I stream everything now anyways!

I use an app called 'AirPlayer' to stream content and video from my NAS, which works perfect. I notice the mirroring restricts the size of the display on the large screen though - is this true for all apps and videos, or does it limit the size of the springboard only?
