Just got my new iPad on Saturday morning. I used it All day on the charge that apple sent it with till it was 100% flat. I then plugged it in to charge over night and whilemi have been using it today I have got about 8hours use max. Nowhere near the 10 hours advertised and the 13hours some people are saying they have got.

Is there something I have done wrong or that I should do???

Thanks

Those 13 hour estimates are with 3G and wifi, Bluetooth, and location services off, and probably 10% brightness using one app, maybe iBooks.

Batteries will often take a few cycles to get up to full capacity.

Also there are many factors that may affect the hours of use that you get:

You must realize that you would only get that much use out of a charge under the very BEST of conditions.

What is wrong with 8 hours with out changing ANY settings. What other device does better than that?
