ipad battery vs 13 mbp battery

my ipad battery is great. i see the apple website lists the ipad and 13 mbp as 10 hr battery. how does the 13 mbp do on battery for surfing the web? is it as good as ipad?

The MBP would not do as well as the ipad. They are both very different devices and there are a lot more factors that contribute to battery life with the macbook.

As an owner of both, my iPad routinely gets longer battery life than my MBP. I've noticed a slight increase to about ~ 8 hours on my MBP, but the iPad consistently does better. I would expect it to, though. Smaller screen, slower proc, etc...etc..
