iPad iPad Bluetooth Mouse/Trackpad with Virtual Keyboard?

Simple question. Anyone know of way to still get the virtual keyboard to come up when using a Bluetooth Mouse or Trackpad? I only want to use a bluetooth trackpad and not an external keyboard.
