I bought a refurbished iPad from A4C and it came with apparently low quality 3rd party lightning cable. It would charge the iPad from the wall charger only occasionally (had to plug in and out several times), finally when I plugged it into my Macbook Pro, it shut down. Macbook wouldn't power on afterwards, no light on the Magsafe, I tried every way to reset it, no success. Finally had to bring it to a service center for repair. :(

Emailed A4C and asked how are they going to compensate the damage. They claim they are not responsible for it. They can't be right, can they?

Wait and see if the service centre blame it on a shorted USB socket. If they do then go to A4C with that.
