iPad Calendar shows FB Birthdays in arabic

hi all,

i bought a 10.5 iPad Pro in Dubai and all my FB Birthdays in the default iOS calender show something in arabic next to the name. yes, the region is set to Germany and i rebooted.

any idea why?
