OK ... tell me I am imagining what this looks like ...

I bought a new ipad case today for my refurbed ipad that is on the way from China as we speak. I opened up what appeared to be a sealed box and found this inside:

Now aside from looking like the world's smallest condom (it's only about 2.5 inches long), I am guessing this must have been used on their fingers to grip the plastic wrapping better as they inserted the ipad case ... right? right??

Yes that is for a finger - not necessarily for a better grip though, keeps finger prints off/product clean/their hands cleaner/etc..

I guess it works as an actual finger condom that retains the excreted oils from your sebacious glands. :D

If you bought that case from Apple you could probably sue and get tons of news coverage - they'll settle out of court for like half a mil just to keep you quiet.

Unfortunately you likely bought it from user "HK_exports" on eBay in which case you're stuck with it - not that it's sticky, I mean.... ok /post

It's not a condom. It's a finger glove. They use it where they want full dexterity in their hand, but also where static electricity ormdirt should be avoided on a product.
