Hello , i have only one power outlet available so I would like to charge my iPad connected to MacBook while MacBook is connected to power …My question is , while MacBook is charging , does iPad gets charge from MacBook battery or directly from power outlet …my logic is that when MacBook is fully charged then iPad gets power from wall outhlet(avoiding MacBook battery), but I’m not sure while is MacBook charging how is the power used ?Thanks

I don't know the details about the power transfer, but you can definitely charge your iPad via your Macbook. It's mentioned in this Apple support article below. Why not get a good surge protector with multiple outlets like a Tripp Lite also shown below?
