iPad cover lock not working!!

I have a smart cover and just recently it has quit working! When I close the cover, my iPad doesn't turn off. I have tried restarting and resetting the iPad, but it still doesn't work. Anyone else having this issue or have any ideas on how to fix this? Thx for any help you can provide.

Go to Setting>General. Then, make sure 'iPad Cover Lock/Unlock' is on.

I did check that initially and it was on. Turned out the issue was the case! At least it's been fixed though.

yeah, i have found that some of the covers are faulty. It's not your fault or anything. Just take it back to apple and show them what the problem is and they will replace it.
