This is my first cellular tablet (10.5" with Verizon SIM) and it seems like it defaults to the cellular connection even when there is a strong wifi connection (all bars and working quickly) but my phone does the opposite and will default to wifi when both are available. Is this normal or is there a setting I could use to have it default to wifi? I did turn off wifi assist and reset the iPad but that still didn't do the trick. I can manually switch and that is working but I'd rather have it switch automatically like the phone if possible.
[doublepost=1498615446][/doublepost]Actually I think I figured it out sorry, looks like it shows both the cellular and the wifi in the top left corner but it was only actually using the cellular when I had wifi assist on. Since I turned that off it looks like it isn't using cellular data anymore.
