ipad deleted from iCloud

Hi All,

I am new to Apple and the iCloud as a whole. I got a message from apple that my iCloud space was full. In trying to free space I accidentally deleted my iPad form the iCloud storage. How do I add it back. Thanks.

would I have to restart it as a new iPad to get it to connect it to the iCloud again?
