Has anyone here been a part of iPad's being deployed at a college level for faculty and staff? If so, how was it? We are looking into deploying between 100-200 iPads for faculty and administrators to use within the next few months and stream via Citrix Win 7 and office for them. Also, does Apple do any bulk discounting?

Can I ask how anyone can get work done on an iPad? I know it's light, has a keyboard, but there's no stylus support for natural handwriting, and there's no filesystem to send/receive/store files to.

What exactly is the advantage of the iPad 2 over the new Galaxy Tabs?

My targus stylus works great on the iPad.

With Citrix, they are able to store files on their local network shares I believe, and if not, Dropbox is great.

Call you local store and ask for the business team. I don't think they'll discount that small a volume but you may get other benefits by going through them.
