Thinking about grabbing a basic iPad Dock; I don't want a speaker-set dock, just something to stand it up while charging - however, I do want to listen to audiobooks\podcasts.
With the speaker placement, can anyone who owns the official Apple dock or something that's shaped a bit similar like 'the stump' let me know if the sounds muffled at all, by having the iPad2 in a portrait position and standing in the dock?
The speaker would be pointed down, but it isn't actually covered by the plastic base, so I think the sound would be okay...
