Don't know, but there's a nice eBay app for iPad. Download it.

I have the ebay app, I personally don't think its as nice as the full website version. (like the facebook app)

I use ebay everyday on my mac and have gotten used to website format that the app is alien and hard to get around, thanks for such a quick reply though :)

That's happenning to me too, it's seems to be an eBay issue as no other web pages i frequent does this....hmmmmm. What I do is usually zoom in all the way and it somehow fixes itself. :)

Have exactly same problem and prefer the website to the app as more options.

Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Show All Sites

then try removing any references to ebay, and see if that helps. (you may have to re-enter your ebay account details if you had them saved on your iPad)

Did you manage to find an answer to this as its driving me mad at the moment, the eBay web site is unusable and the app doesn't do everything that I need.

Yeah seems a few people have the same problem, but I've not seen any advice on how to fix it. And not being particularly tech minded I would have no idea where to start.

Read the thread and then checked eBay on my iPad. I'm on iOS 5.0.1 and I don't have the problem.

I'm on iOS 5.0.1 as well but it happens every time. I have the original iPad not the iPad 2 I wonder if this makes a difference?

Me too

I have had this problem for as long as I can remember, but I bought my iPad September of 2011, so may not have really used eBay site until iOS 5.

Chalked it down to scripting issue for Safari.

As STJ mentions in the post link to ipadforums, the issue does appear to be related to the page trying to fit in too many things being viewed on the page (gadget wise), especially because the problem seems to be more pronounced if you start scrolling the page before it finishes loading.

I found that it helps if you go into "page options" on the eBay page and edit what is shown on the summary page, so that not so many things load at once.

If you change the display items to 10 on the bottom of the page....... It's better

Same problem here but...

I have the same problem but if I refresh or reload the same page using the half circle arrow at the end of the address bar the page fixes itself. I have iPad 2.

They recently updated it. I'd give it a shot. The interface is actually better than the website. But STJ seems to have found the solution.
