Our company is looking to develop iPad apps for our retail stores. After doing some research, it looks like it is possible to deploy provision profiles wirelessly. This is great but, it looks to be impossible to deploy our apps wirelessly. Is the iPhone config utility or iTunes the only way to deploy applications? If docking the iPad is required how does one go about telling iTunes (or the iPhone config app) that an update is available?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

You might want to consider looking into the enterprise part of the iPhone Developer Program.
