iPad Ipad equivalents to Compose and Tap to Widgets?

I have compose and tap to widgets on my phone, but see they don't play nice on the ipad... Are there ipad tweaks that allow you to put functions like "new iMessage" or "compose new email" in the notification center? Thans.
