iPad event next week accessories

I just think the colors refer to a retina display.

There was no spray paint accessory or retina display for the iPad 1 event. I don't think there's any significance at all behind the banner.

Now, let's get back to overanalyzing the invite. :)

I said wishful thinking! and correction its not over analyzing the invite!

the invite was the ipad wich looks like the home button is missing with the finger pointing to the event date.

im referring to the banner on the building! :)

the only unique iPad2 accessory was the smart cover. I'm reading it is gone, so I hope apple will offer a full case for the 3. I assume because of the tighter 3 fit, there's no room for the magnet structure the 2 had inside.

The above image is the banner on the building when they introduced the iPad 1

Looks about the same as the new banner.

Nothing to analyze.
It's just art.
 
maybe new iLife/iWork suite for the iPad with a drawing/painting app?

don't really care to be honest, there isn't much they can do that will make me not buy one. Im going through withdrawal from getting rid of my iPad 2. The last few weeks has really seem to feel like forever.
 
Im pretty sure the smart covers are still going to be an accessory for the iPad 3, but yeah I'm hoping Apple do also release a full case just like they did for iPad 1, as I really liked the original iPad case, hmmm because the iPad 3 is going to be thicker than iPad 2, it may actually fit the original case ? :)
 
The iPad 3 is barely going to be thicker. It is not going to be anywhere near the size of the iPad 1. It's only .8mm thicker than iPad 2 which is barely noticeable. I do believe it will support the smart covers, just as revealed in leaked iPad 3 parts. And I don't think they'll make a full case, as apple obviously ditched that idea after the iPad 1 case.
 
I highly doubt they'll make a full case again. In the iPad 2 keynote, they said something along the lines of "We went to all this trouble to design a beautiful iPad, and then immediately covered the whole thing up." So I don't see them covering the whole thing up again.

Yes, I agree with you with that, however by the looks of the latest rumours, Apple will be making an alternative case with back protection and might still have just the smart cover as another option....

How long ago did you sell off your #2 and may I ask what you got for it ?

took it back to the store, got a full refund. has just upgraded from an original iPad (which i gave to my grandfather and didn't really want to ask for it back)
