iPad FaceTime Camera Problem

Take a look at the picture, and try the same thing with your ipad 2. Do you guys get the same effect with study lamps like these? My iPhone doesn't seem to have this problem. I am also wondering whether this problem with my ipad developed after a while or i had it all along.

The iPhone camera is much better than the iPad camera.
