In the center of the WWDC madness, Taptic Toys was showing off a telepresence robot based around the iPad and Facetime. So, instead of going to the office, you can send your robot in your place. They are using a Mi-Fi device to get around Facetime's Wi-Fi requirement. Seems just to be a prototype, so they are gauging interest for an actual device.

Looks like he was grabbing the wheel to stop her from escaping! I think she must really be trapped inside the thing. Scary!

Where is the sticky that says "If Facetime crashed, please restart me."

Not so stinky

Cool - no more commuting to work. The office will smell a lot better too without all the obese bods shuffling about aimlessly.

Until someone at the office thinks it will be cute to throw a bag over your robot's head or hide your attached iPad in a locked desk.

To be successful, the robot needs to include 007 defensive maneuvers... tacks, tear gas, flames, missiles.
