All iPads iPad fast battery drain + slow recharging? Pics included

WHat can cause my iPad battery to drain so fast? Ive only used it for 2-3 hours, and im already below 50%. Also, my iPad takes forever scince i jailbroke it (6.1) to fully load agin! WHat can be causing my troubbles? Ive included a complete list of all my installed packages from cydia, so if u can see something that might be the problem, please let me know!

What ipad do you have?

The 32nm chips in the 2 and 4 have lower power requirements. The 4 also came with a 12w power supply.

Maybe it's the jailbreak or a faulty battery.My ipad4 lasts 15 hours wifi surfing and at least 7 hours playing games like Real Racing 2HD.Recharging takes about 5 hours from fully flat.

I've not jail broke, so can't comment on that.

Tricks that work for me are turning down brightness. Also, see if you can pick up a 12w charger. They will work with the iPad 3 and might drop your charging time down.

ipad4 jailbroken

hello my ipad4 is jailbroken but cannot work out what app or how it happened,is there anyway to find out how to fix it .also my battery isnt lasting as long either i get about a few hours play and surfing the next on it and i can play about 2 films then it needs charging again.i have the iPad4 64gb wiv ret display.i was wondering maybe the battery isn't lasting as long and takes a while to load up,coz i only have about 7gb left out of 64 .thx

First possibility. You jailbroke it. Restore it without the jailbreak set it up new and test it with clean and proper software, what happens.

Then clean it again, jailbreak and only use 'proper' Apple provided apps. What happens.

If so far so good, reinstall your jailbreak tweaks and apps one at a time and retest after each one so you can see when things go off. Whatever you just did is very possibly the culprit
