iPad - from £249?

Just went to http://store.apple.com/uk and noticed that under iPad it says 'from £249', yet when you click on it it shows the cheapest as being the £329 iPad 2? I'm sure it said 'from £329' before, has something been added?

You're correct... it says 249 pounds it starts from, but when you click it... it's the iPad 2 and new iPad there... weird.

'Refurbished iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G 16GB - Black (1st Gen.)' is £279, so yeah maybe the WiFi only is £249. It doesn't do that with any of the other products though.
 
Yeah very strange, just checked it myself - it says £249 but the actual iPads don't start till £399 for the new iPad and £329 for the iPad 2...

Typo maybe.
 
iPad mini UK pricing?

I noticed the same thing. I reckon this could be the UK price for the forthcoming iPad mini, which is rumoured to launch next month.

A similar thing has apparently happened in the Canadian Apple Store, though not in the US. :D

Apple don’t list their refurbished prices on the store front page, so I don’t think that’s it.
 
They show $299.00 in Canada's apple store. Is this a mistake or can I really buy an iPad for $299?
 
I called apple and they said it was a mistake, they have since corrected it on the canadian site as well.
 
Yeah it has been fixed now, and I agree it could well be linked to the upcoming (rumoured) iPad Mini - and £249 was the price I estimated :p.

I'm with you. Really reasonable guess. iPad mini in $249
 
Canadian site showed $299... and this was right after the updated store came back up after the keynote today. It makes sense this will be the iPad Mini. YAY! :D
