iPad iPad gesture wallpaper fix

Anyone know if there is a tweak to fix the wallpaper glitch on an iPad 3 when using gestures to go to the home screen? It's like the wallpaper is blurred for a few seconds before exiting the app. I think the betas of iOS 7.1 fixed this issue, so hoping there was a way to fix it without going up to a beta.
