Hi All,
I have just lost my Ipad, it wasnt set up, only had just turned it on, english had to be set up and the rest of the set up function had to be done.
Sorry for the basic explenation but Im not sure how else to describe it.
Is it traceable, if some one gets it and completes the set up (does that become theirs and not traceable) it has a sim card in it but if that is removed is it tracable. Thanks any help would be great.

It doesn't sound like you set up iCloud, so that would be the only way you could possibly pinpoint its location. If you didn't even get past the basic setup, or set a passcode then whoever finds it can use it as theirs and even activate the sim with a data plan. (but not billed to you)

Sorry this happened. Under what circumstances did this loss take place? Are you sure its completely gone?

Sorry to hear your iPad is lost. Like barkomatic said, if you didn't set up iCloud, the chances of tracking your iPad are slim. Hopefully it turns up soon!
