Just recently my ipad mini which is my hub will just stop showing up in the home app. Just says its not responding and then of course wont run automations etc.

I have tried to troubleshoot this. Assigned it a static IP address on my network (ubiquiti amplifi wired mesh)

It worked great for a long time and this is frustrating. I was already frustrated at the leviton homekit switches that constantly drop off but now this man really has me puzzled.

I have leviton wifi switches through smartthings that connect to homekit through homebridge that are flawless so considered just swapping the 3 homekit switches to the wifi switches but now with this ipad just falling off the network i just am at a loss.

Anyone have any troubleshooting tips for keeping this ipad up and alive on the network? If i click on the device and like wake it up all is good immediately but i dont want the screen on all the time.

Funny thing is i have an ATV4 and it would never register as a hub so went to an old ipad mini and it has been solid up till now. The leviton devices themselves not very solid. My leviton wifi solid on my smartthings.

So frustrating
