iPad homemade engineering solutions? Mounting for car? Home? Etc.

Hope this isn't a duplicate...haven't seen a collection of ideas to help manage the HOMEMADE ideas.

But I really want to make something or find something that is already out there. A lot of the solutions are not very mobile.

Currently, I am using an inCase Grip from the Apple store...and then I put the iPad in a 12" netbook bag. It has two front facing pockets...and there is plenty of room. It has two handles. But I want to come up with something that is a little less awkward to carry, but not murse like.

But I also want to Jerry Rig something for the car.

Anyway, so, if you have MADE something, or come up with an non-ipad specific solution, can you please put a photo up?

I have also worked out that my 2004 Honda CRV has a perfect spot for the iPad and has been really helpful navigating...not so much turn by turn as I have an in-dash GPS...but to explore areas for photos, especially along the water ways, and referencing other stuff on the go from stars (literally, the moon and the stars) to restaurants, etc.
