Ok, I tried to search for this issue, but couldn't find anything after wading through many, many unrelated posts that showed up in the search. Therefore, I am just asking the question...
I have an iPad 4 32GB WiFi/LTE (AT&T) that I use on WiFi only for now. I have NOT upgraded to iOS 8 because I am not and "Early Adopter" (yes, I know it's way past early, now) AND the 2 people that I personally know who made the switch are regretting it in several ways. So, for now, I'm still on iOS 7.1.2 until I am comfortable about not experiencing some issues.
Anyway, my question is about the iOS Email Platform, as you probably guessed from the Title of this post.
I have several accounts (business and personal) that are set up IMAP using my own personal Domains and Google Apps For Business Email (basically a Gmail Account that uses my Domains and Google's MX Servers for Mail Exchange).
In every account, including my iCloud account, if I receive a Newsletter or an Email that is HTML Format with Embedded Pictures, sometimes they show up and sometimes they don't! I have verified that the settings are correct to allow images within emails, as well. It's just strange that some Render Perfectly and others Render a Part of the email, but not all. And...sometimes the part that does Render is an Image Border, just everything inside the border doesn't show up!
Besides upgrading iOS to 8, which I know I'm going to have to do eventually, is there something I may be missing? All accounts are IMAP instead of POP, as that is my preference so I can get to email in any Browser from another device of any kind.
Thanks for ANY Help or Info that anyone my be able to offer!
Have a Great Weekend!
Scott
