Ipad hulu plus crash

I have 5.1.1 ipad 2 wifi, and I downloaded hulu plus but everytime I open it shows me a grey page and then returns to homescreen, I dont know what to do! I have already delete the app and download it again, or restart the ipad, what else can i do? Im outside us, and have vpn for streaming things like that, i have already tried with netflix amd it works, help please

It's probably not cooperating with the VPN.

The vpn works, but Im having my doubts about the application maybe because I downloaded from another country, please help me find a solution
