I was watching 2001 a space odyssey last night and realized that in the scenes with Poole and Bowman on the Discovery... They are using iPads! During the scene where they are receiving a transmission from earth.... Laying on the table are two tablet computers.. I wonder what other films have used the iPad in one form or another....
..oh and I just joined the group.. I have enjoyed lurking.. Now it is time to exit the shadows..
Written on my iPad 2 32gb white..

Star Trek. Everywhere. Heh.

Ps: love the iPad, iPad twin. I feel like I don't see a lot of people with the 32gb white around.

I take it you do realise 2001 was made in 1968. 43 years ago.

Eight years before Apple as a company even existed.

Steve Jobs was 18

Was going to make a snarky comment, but you don't deserve it. I apologize for considering it, though.

I saw iPads being used on the SyFy Channel's "Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files". They use them as handheld media controllers, and I suspect, as notepads, document readers, etc., holding much, if not all of the materials they need while out in the field doing investigations.
